TEXT: Psalm 103:1-16
Scripture Reading v. 2-3
Introduction:
1. Rehearse the great blessings of being a Christian.
2. Rejoice in the lord always – there are always reasons to rejoice in the Lord.
Discussion:

B. Who forgives all our iniquities? Only God can do that!
1. We that have been forgiven of sin, understand just what a blessing this truly is for us.
2. We will not have to have that held over us sometime in the future, either.
C. Who heals our diseases – soul’s diseases?

2. Moses reminded them that God PROMISED not to bring upon the children of Israel those diseases that he had brought upon the Egyptians.

B. God’s motivation was love –

C. Acts 17:28 – this encompasses the idea of god’s loving-kindness and tender mercies. “We are His offspring.”
1. As a Father would take care of a son’s needs…our Father in heaven has paid our debt for us.

3. We too should feel indebted to the point that we want to tell others.

God Satisfies – v.

A. Satisfies our needs.
1. The true believer will want to praise God, b/c of the provisions and not the possessions.
2. We should understand that God will provide for His children.

2. “Take no thought of tomorrow”
C. Phil. 4:19 - My God shall supply all our needs
D. Therefore, thy youth is renewed – referring to our strength – we are given the strength to carry on the task before (Phil. 4:13)
Conclusion:
1. The Great Benefits of God are Forgiveness, Redemption & Satisfaction in the Lord.

2. Man’s days are numbered – time is limited and even at its best, it’s still short!
